Factory Holdings, a platform spanning wealth management, private investments, media, technology, and philanthropy, has launched Factory Capital, an SEC-registered RIA based in Los Angeles. The new division is designed specifically for athletes, entertainers, entrepreneurs, and creators—a client base whose financial needs extend well beyond traditional portfolio management.
Travis Henry, a Yale graduate and former managing director at Morgan Stanley and Cresset, leads Factory Capital. Henry has spent his career advising athletes, executives, and multi-generational families on complex wealth decisions and business transactions. “Our clients aren't simply investing capital, they're building businesses, creating intellectual property, influencing markets, and shaping culture,” Henry said. “They need advisors who understand how wealth, ownership, opportunity, and influence intersect.”
Factory Capital offers a suite of services including wealth management, family-office solutions, strategic planning, and access to public and private investment opportunities. The firm leverages networks across philanthropy, finance, sports, and media to provide clients with opportunities that traditional advisory firms may not offer.
The launch comes as the wealth generated by high achievers in sports and entertainment continues to grow, creating a rich client base for specialized firms. Factory Capital’s approach combines traditional advisory services with a cultural ecosystem that spans sports, entertainment, and entrepreneurship.
On the infrastructure side, Factory Capital has partnered with Dynasty Financial Partners for technology, securities, compliance, and operational support. The firm has also selected Fidelity Investments as its custody provider. “Travis brings the experience, judgment, and client-first mindset that define great advisors, while Keenan and the Factory team have built a powerful platform at the intersection of culture, business, and capital,” said Shirl Penney, founder and CEO of Dynasty Financial Partners.
Penney added that Factory Capital is not being built as a standalone advisory firm but as part of a broader ecosystem designed to create opportunities, deepen relationships, and deliver value for clients. “We believe that model positions Factory Capital for significant long-term growth,” he said.
Keenan Beasley, founder and CEO of Factory Holdings, emphasized the firm’s mission: “Factory was built on a simple belief: the people who create culture should also own the value it generates. Factory Capital extends that mission through institutional wealth management designed specifically for athletes, entertainers, entrepreneurs, and creators. Our advantage isn't simply investment management, it's our understanding of the communities and clients we serve, the opportunities they create, and the relationships that drive long-term value.”
The launch of Factory Capital follows a trend of specialized RIAs targeting niche client segments. For example, Pathstone recently merged with a $12 billion RIA to bolster its ultra-high-net-worth presence, while CW Advisors acquired Catalina Capital to expand its Southern California footprint.
Factory Capital’s focus on athletes and creators aligns with the growing recognition that these individuals often have complex financial lives involving intellectual property, brand deals, and multiple income streams. The firm aims to provide a holistic approach that addresses these unique needs.
