Wealth management technology firms are bolstering their leadership ranks to meet growing demand for AI-driven tools and private market access. Advisor360, Dispatch, and Opto Investments have each announced senior hires in recent weeks, signaling a broader push to modernize advisor workflows and expand product offerings.
Advisor360, a provider of digital advice and portfolio management solutions, has named Hrishi Dixit as chief technology officer for agentic innovation and Russ Hughey as vice president of customer success. Dixit, a 30-year software and fintech veteran, will oversee technology strategy and the development of AI-native products for advisors. He joins from Autonomy Finance, an AI platform for advisors that he co-founded and where he served as CTO. Previously, he spent nearly a decade as founding CTO of Yieldstreet, now known as Willow Wealth, and held the same role at LearnVest, which Northwestern Mutual acquired in 2015 and shut down in 2018. The hire reunites Dixit with Milind Mehere, who founded both Yieldstreet and AutonomyFinance.ai and became Advisor360's CEO after the board selected him for the top job. Hughey, who will manage customer success and strategic client relationships, previously held senior roles at First Rate, InvestEdge, Vestmark, Advent Software, and Charles River Development. Mehere said the pair bring experience building technology businesses and working directly with financial institutions and advisors.
Dispatch, a New York-based data infrastructure startup serving wealth firms, has appointed Patrick Dunne as head of wealth and asset management. Dunne, who has over 25 years in operations and financial services, most recently served as chief operating officer of Hightower Advisors, where he managed operations during a period of rapid growth, integrated numerous acquisitions, and helped launch Hightower Signature Wealth, the firm's first national direct-to-consumer advisory practice. Last month, Dispatch announced a partnership with Hightower to manage client data workflows across the Signature Wealth business. Dunne previously held leadership positions at Jordan Park and LendingClub, and spent much of his career at BlackRock, where he led teams across iShares, global markets, and securities lending, and sat on the firm's global operating committee. At Dispatch, he will advise clients on modernizing infrastructure, streamlining workflows, and adopting AI, while also working with product and sales teams to shape the company's roadmap. Dunne noted that fragmented technology and manual processes can limit a firm's ability to scale, even during rapid growth. The appointment follows the launch of the Dispatch API, which allows other technology providers to embed its account-opening workflows, and Advisor Transitions, software for moving advisors and client assets between firms. Dispatch says it has helped transition more than $20 billion in client assets, while assets managed by customers on its platform grew from approximately $900 billion to more than $9 trillion over the past year.
Opto Investments, a New York-based private markets outsourced chief investment officer for wealth managers, family offices, and institutions, has hired Justin Mills as principal product manager and Rachel Hallock as head of design. Mills, a CFA charterholder, will lead work on Opto's technology products, with an initial focus on simplifying and personalizing client onboarding. He spent 15 years overseeing risk, research, and quantitative analytics products behind more than $80 billion in hedge fund, private equity, and real asset investments at Quellos Capital Management, later acquired by BlackRock, and subsequently built product and program teams at Smartsheet. Hallock will oversee design across the app that advisors and CIOs use to bring clients into private markets, as well as Opto's internal tools. She brings more than 14 years of product design and fintech experience, including five years at DesignMap and a role as director of product design at Carta, where she led design for the fund administration business as it grew from 300 to 4,000 firms. Earlier this year, Opto added Warren Seubel, a veteran from CAIS, as vice president of sales and revenue, with a mandate to expand its AI-driven private markets platform. CEO Ryan VanGorder said the firm is bringing on senior talent to capitalize on growth ahead, and that Mills and Hallock will help advisors and CIOs act with confidence on private markets opportunities.
These moves come as wealth management firms increasingly seek technology partners that can handle complex data workflows and offer sophisticated investment products. The appointments at Advisor360, Dispatch, and Opto reflect a competitive landscape where platforms are differentiating through AI capabilities and access to alternative assets. For advisors, the new leadership may signal enhanced tools for client onboarding, data management, and private market investing.
