Bluespring Wealth, an aggregator based in Austin, Texas, has acquired Element Wealth Advisors, an Atlanta-based financial planning firm affiliated with Kestra Financial. The transaction, announced in early 2026, is Bluespring's sixth acquisition of the year, underscoring the firm's strategy of partnering with growth-oriented independent advisory businesses.
Element Wealth Advisors was founded by Managing Partners Todd Mitman and Jeremy Reese. The firm focuses on serving individuals, families, retirees, and business owners through comprehensive financial planning, investment management, retirement planning, and tax-aware wealth strategies. The firm has built a reputation for personalized service and deep client relationships.
Under the terms of the deal, Element will retain its name and existing leadership structure. The firm gains access to Bluespring's operational, strategic, and technology resources, which are designed to support growth without compromising the firm's independence. Jeremy Reese, Managing Partner of Element, stated that the partnership allows the firm to "grow thoughtfully while continuing to invest in our team and the client experience."
William Salmen, head of mergers and acquisitions at Bluespring Wealth, emphasized that Element's culture and reputation were key factors in the decision to pursue the partnership. "Element Wealth Advisors represents the type of firm we look to partner with because of the leadership, culture, and long-term vision they have built," Salmen said. He added that the Element team has established a strong reputation through their client relationships and disciplined approach to business.
Bluespring Wealth describes itself as a platform for entrepreneurially minded advisory firms that seek institutional backing while maintaining their independence. The firm recently formed Bluespring Wealth Management, LLC, a registered investment advisor designed to centralize compliance support across its network of partner firms. This move is part of a broader trend among aggregators to provide more integrated support for their affiliates.
The acquisition of Element Wealth Advisors is part of a wave of consolidation in the RIA space. Other recent deals include Modern Wealth, Arax, and Waverly executing three East Coast acquisitions totaling $1.35 billion, and Stratos Wealth Holdings adding $4.8 billion in assets through 11 acquisitions across seven states. Bluespring's deal with Element adds to this momentum, particularly in the Southeast.
For Element, the partnership provides access to resources that can help the firm scale while maintaining its focus on client relationships. The firm's founders have emphasized that the acquisition is about enhancing capabilities, not changing the firm's identity. "Our focus has always been on building meaningful relationships and delivering advice that puts our clients first," Reese said.
Bluespring's formation of a dedicated RIA entity, Bluespring Wealth Management, LLC, is designed to streamline compliance and operational support for its partner firms. This structure allows Bluespring to offer a centralized platform while allowing each firm to maintain its own brand and culture. The Element acquisition is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026.
