Two wealth technology firms, DeepVest and Advisor CRM, have separately introduced artificial intelligence-driven updates designed to help financial advisors process client data more efficiently while maintaining security and context. The enhancements focus on behavioral risk assessment and integrated AI assistants, aiming to reduce reliance on generic analysis and external tools.

DeepVest Adds Client Context and Behavioral Risk Scoring

DeepVest, a provider of AI-powered portfolio analysis tools for advisors, has unveiled two new features for its AdvisorLab platform. The first, Advisor Hierarchy, allows advisors to organize client relationships across households, companies, and trusts, consolidating data and meeting notes into a single view. When running analyses, the platform automatically draws on this comprehensive picture—including client objectives, constraints, and life events—eliminating the need for manual data re-entry.

The second feature, Behavioral Investment Suitability Analysis, is a 22-question psychometric tool based on prospect theory, developed by Daniel Kahneman and Amos Tversky. Each question is calibrated to the client's actual portfolio value, avoiding abstract percentages. The tool generates five distinct risk scores: tolerance, capacity, composure, revealed risk, and model portfolio fit. It also embeds a plain-language summary into client proposals and flags inconsistencies between stated preferences and actual holdings.

DeepVest CEO Toby Wade emphasized that the platform aims to provide advisors with institutional-grade analytical capabilities without hallucination risks or manual data work. “While verified market data remains the foundation of DeepVest, Advisor Hierarchy and Behavioral Investment Suitability Analysis ensure the analysis is grounded in a clear understanding of each client’s structure, history and relationship with risk,” Wade said. “The platform now reflects both the market and the client.”

Advisor CRM Launches Beacon AI Assistant

Advisor CRM, a customer relationship management platform built for registered investment advisors, has launched Beacon, a secure AI assistant embedded directly into its existing platform. Beacon addresses the common practice of advisors copying sensitive client information into public AI tools, which creates security risks and incomplete outputs due to lack of access to full client or firm data.

Beacon is integrated throughout the Advisor CRM platform and supports multiple AI models, including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude. The system routes each request to the model it determines will produce the best result, though advisors can select a preferred model. No separate subscriptions to the underlying AI platforms are required, and neither Advisor CRM nor the connected models retain or use client data for training purposes.

Ryan Borer, managing partner at Advisor CRM, noted that advisors often lose time “toggling between systems, pulling client data, updating notes, and drafting communications.” He said Beacon is designed to bring that work into “a secure, centralized environment, turning real advisor data into finished output.”

The updates come as wealth management firms increasingly adopt AI to improve efficiency and client service. For context, Wells Fargo Launches AI-Enhanced Advisor Gateway; UBS Splits Florida Market and a Morgan Stanley survey: 63% of founders prioritize revenue growth amid AI and liquidity pressures highlight the broader industry trend. Additionally, LPL and Osaic capture $1.4B advisor team in dual breakaway from Raymond James and Wealth Enhancement and Steward Partners stake new ground in California, Florida show ongoing consolidation and expansion.
