RBC Wealth Management has added Joshua Wright as a financial advisor and senior vice president-investments, overseeing its Bedford and Peterborough, New Hampshire branches. Wright joins from Wells Fargo Advisors, where he managed roughly $200 million in client assets and served as a branch manager. With 25 years in financial services, his practice emphasizes long-term financial planning, retirement strategies, and estate planning.
Brendan Krebs, RBC's New England Complex Director, praised Wright as a thoughtful leader and natural mentor. Accompanying Wright is Mary Cronin, a 36-year industry veteran who joins as senior registered client associate. Cronin, who holds Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses, spent over two decades at Morgan Stanley before moving to Wells Fargo in 2013.
This hire follows RBC's announcement that Kristin Kimmell, former executive vice president at Osaic, would rejoin as West Divisional Director.
Separately, Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network (FiNet) reported a robust May recruiting haul, with advisors and practices collectively overseeing more than $3 billion in assets under management. Notable additions include Twin Harbors Private Wealth, a nine-person team from Melville, New York, previously split across two Merrill Lynch practices. Other East Coast hires include Brian Ginty from Osaic Wealth in Kingston, New York; Coty Schnake from Citizens in Wilmington, Delaware; and Deborah Mansour from Equitable Advisors in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
In the Mid-Atlantic, Seventy2 Capital Wealth Management added Christopher Kelly and Bret Schertz, both from RBC, in Hunt Valley, Maryland. Midwest expansion saw NEST Capital in Cincinnati welcome Brian Merrick from Stratos Wealth Advisors, operating as Three Asset Advisory Group. In the South, Seventy2 Capital added Kyle Appling and Emily Landerholm from Comerica in Southlake, Texas, while Conservant Financial in New Braunfels, Texas, added Cynthia Michael from Belpointe Asset Management.
In the Mountain West, TSG Wealth Management in Denver added Jason Kariuki from J.P. Morgan, along with Margaret "Marhe" Youch and her son Robert Youch from Ameriprise in Bellevue, Washington. John Tyers, FiNet president, attributed the growth to the platform's strength and the appeal of independent practice models.
The May additions follow a strong first quarter for FiNet, which attracted nearly $5.5 billion in client assets during January and February, one of its best recruiting periods in 25 years.
UBS also announced that Ella Curren has joined its Manhattan Market as a financial advisor, operating as a senior member of Two Rivers Private Wealth. Curren previously served as director and co-head of the Private Client Group at Lazard Asset Management, where she also co-chaired the Lazard Women's Leadership Network. At UBS, she will focus on high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth families, business owners, endowments, and foundations. Kellie Brady, UBS Manhattan market executive, and Demie Kommatas, market director, welcomed Curren, citing her client-first approach and strong track record.
