Three wealth management firms disclosed advisor recruitment wins on Wednesday, collectively adding practices that oversee approximately $1.6 billion in client assets. The moves span Pennsylvania and Ohio, reflecting continued advisor mobility in the independent and employee channels.

Wells Fargo FiNet Adds $650 Million Pennsylvania Team

The largest of the three hires was captured by Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network (FiNet), which recruited Rebich Investments, a nine-person practice based in Edinboro, Pennsylvania. The team previously operated under Stifel Independent Advisors and managed more than $650 million in client assets, according to the firm.

Todd Rebich leads the group and is joined by advisors Brian Long, Greg Keil, Allison Rebich, and Zane Wright, along with support staff Aimee Forkey, Misty Dawson, Alison Petkac, Truman Vereb, and Sam Work. Their arrival extends a strong recruiting month for FiNet, which in May brought in advisors responsible for over $3 billion in assets, including two former Merrill Lynch teams overseeing $1.4 billion. Raymond James Welcomes $450 Million Duo in Ohio

Raymond James & Associates, the firm's employee advisor channel, added Jason Hull and Jessica Penza in Dublin, Ohio. The pair arrived from UBS Financial Services, where they jointly managed approximately $450 million in client assets. They will operate as Hull Penza Wealth Advisors of Raymond James, with client service associate Jennifer Hill joining them.

Hull, a senior vice president of wealth management, began his financial services career in 1995 and spent 12 years at his prior firm. Penza, vice president of investments, entered the industry in 2007 and built experience across client service, operations, and wealth management before the move. Janney Opens Akron Office with $300 Million Advisor

Janney Montgomery Scott established a new office in Akron, Ohio, by recruiting Guy Jardine, a senior vice president and wealth management specialist who joins from Raymond James. Jardine will serve as branch manager and help lead advisor recruiting across the greater Akron market. He oversees more than $300 million in client assets and is accompanied by private client associate Lori Cheslock.

Jardine brings over 28 years of industry experience, having started his career at Kidder, Peabody & Co. in 1993 before building a practice focused on financial planning, retirement strategies, and wealth management for individuals and families. The Akron office is part of Janney's Buckeye Complex, led by complex director Scott Horowitz. The hire extends Janney's broader Ohio expansion: 13 advisors have joined the firm across five branch offices in the state since 2024, including new openings in Cambridge, Mansfield, and Hudson. These moves underscore the ongoing competition among broker-dealers and independent platforms to attract experienced advisors with substantial books of business. The combined $1.6 billion in assets highlights the scale of talent being recruited as firms seek to expand their geographic footprint and service capabilities.
